EXCEPTIONAL 1890’s 5pc natural wicker rolled arm set (w/2 matching settees). Fine rolled arm set w/6’6” sofa. 3 wicker floor lamps. 2 hooded wicker cabana or beach chairs. Wicker table lamp. FEATURING Items from The Estate of John Joseph Derby of Saratoga Springs. A life long collector, John amassed an almost overwhelming amount of material which we’ll be selling in 4 or 5 sales between now and the end of July.
GARDEN fine pair cast iron urns w/neo-classical heads. Exc wirework bench w/arms. 41” cast cement Satyr and cast cement recumbent lion. 3 old wooden slat park benches w/ornate cast iron ends. 1917 sundial. Imposing pair 43” by 5’2” cast iron figural lions (the original Van Raalte Textile Mill lions!) – both damaged & need repair. ARCHITECTURAL small 19thC cast iron gate. Large early wooden door w/fine wrought strap hinges. Set 4 wrought iron balcony railings. Large oak door w/beveled glass panels. Pairs of good wrought iron stair railings. Set 4 wrought iron window grates. 3 fluted wooden 9’ porch columns. 60+ turned wooden railing spindles. Pat’d 1859 paint decorated iron case clock w/images of American Industry (steamboat, railroad steam engine, spread wing eagle, anvil, canons, cotton bale, etal). Ornate 16” Ansonia crystal regulator. Massive slate cased clock w/neo-classical figures & Pat’d 1867 movement. Early Pembroke table w/stretcher base. Lovely miniature (ht 24”) pine 1 drawer lift lid blanket chest on bracket base. 3 early country Chippendale chairs. Good 2 part Empire secretary desk. Attractive 2 part c.1890 chestnut stepback cupboard. 6’2” country corner cabinet w/glass paned doors. C.1850 country fall front desk on commode base. FRENCH FURNITURE: good 4’10” gilt case w/paint decoration curved glass collector’s vitrine. Handsome 8’2” armoire w/full length beveled mirror door (only 38” wide). Good pair marble top kidney shaped French end cabinets. Sheet music cabinet w/tall bev mirrored crest. VICTORIAN: good lg oval MT parlor stand. Chinese carved fern stand w/inset rose marble top.
