Our first sale of Fall offers The Estate of Ralph and Barbara Collins of Johnstown, NY. Longtime antiques lovers, their country farmhouse was furnished throughout with Antique Furniture & Accessories, many Smalls including Sterling Silver, even 2 Pianos! PIANO OF NOTE: - will be sold at 6pm – scarce Steinway Circassian walnut 6’2” MODEL A-2 PLAYER Grand Piano built in 1911. The player mechanism by the well respected Welte-Mignon company. Very few Steinway player grand pianos are to be found! In working order with 50 piano rolls. An additional 600 player piano rolls to be sold in separate lots. ANOTHER PIANO a 1920’s/30’s mahogany cased 5’ Baby Grand Piano by Cable-Nelson. “AEOLIAN PIANOLA” desirable & nearly mint Aeolian Pianola mechanism to convert nearly any piano to a player piano (found in the original box in the attic of the Johnstown Estate).

7+ CLOCKS to incl: good looking early English mahogany case grandfather’s clock with broken arch and pediment Chippendale crest and original painted face with 5 scenes of Shakespeare’s “The Ages of Man”. Early English bonnet top grandfather’s clock with orig painted bird & florals face with date window (no weights). Good Pat’d 1908 oak case International Time Clock. Mid 1800’s English mahogany case wall clock w/fusee movement (running). Junghans 1920’s mahogany case bracket clock w/Westminster chimes (running), c.1900 China Case clock w/violets on case (running).
FURNITURE EARLY/COUNTRY to incl: 18thC open top w/shaped shelves 7’ pumpkin pine corner cupboard with raised panel bottom doors and H L hinges. Early 2 part 6’10” corner cupboard w/fluted panels flanking glass paned top doors (painted dark red in the 1960’s). 2 early candle stands incl mahogany tilt-top w/shaped top. C.1810 Hepplewhite 1 drawer stand w/fine orig brass pull. Pr early 7 spindle hoop back Windsor chairs. Refinished pine dough box on legs. Refinished pine farrier’s tray. MID 19thC MAHOGANY: fine pedestal base tilt-top breakfast table (top 41” x 60”). Nice small size (5’ wide) classical sideboard with ebonized full columns and carved claw feet. Handsome country chest/sideboard w/chimney backsplash and Sandwich opalescent glass pulls. Good looking 3 part 7’9” secretary desk with birdseye maple desk interior. Nice large Empire 3 over 4 drawer strongly figured chest with full columns. Lady’s Empire dressing table w/mirror above. Nicely figured smaller size 5 drawer chest w/sophisticated drawer fronts. Cherry cased 3 over 3 drawer chest w/nice backsplash. 2 fold-over card tables. Cherry cased 2 drawer stand w/mahogany drawer fronts. VICTORIAN: sweet labeled RJ Horner ormolu mounted French style mahogany curio cabinet with serpentine glass. Good Eastlake cherry 2 part corner bookcase. Fancy brass & onyx fern stand. Iron w/oak “leaves” dictionary stand. 2 heavily carved Chinese tabouret stands w/inset rose marble tops. Nicely re-done brass & iron arched top full size bed. WALNUT: very nice marble top sideboard – the mirrored top with particularly nice pierced ribbon carved panels & with rosewood grained panels. Good Eastlake split pedestal base square top dining table w/4 leaves (opens to 8’). 3 nicely upholstered Victorian sofas. 3 white marble top stands. Nice small commode. OAK: 2 golden oak 4 drawer legal file cabinets. Golden oak mirrored top sideboard w/nice high carved crest. L dresser with long beveled dressing mirror & hatbox compartment. 2 parlor stands. C.1900-1910 MAHOGANY: Good Globe Wernecke 4 section lawyer’s bookcase. Handsome clawfoot sideboard w/fan carved doors and particularly attractive shaped beveled mirror top. Good looking double door bookcase with Gothic arched glass paneled doors. Clawfoot china closet with curved glass side panels. Large kidney shaped desk. Good clawfoot pedestal base round top hall table. Large Empire style sideboard. Another double door bookcase. 40’S MAHOGANY: particularly nice clawfoot ribbon edge tilt-top tea table.
